Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit reevemods.com. The short version: the site has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no ads. It only needs the technical data that any website needs to reach your browser.
Who is responsible
The site is run by ReeveMods, the author of ImmersiveVC. For anything about your data, write to contact@reevemods.com.
What the site does not do
- It sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking.
- It runs no analytics, statistics, advertising or social media scripts.
- It has no user accounts, sign-ups, comments or contact forms.
- Fonts, scripts, pictures and videos are served from reevemods.com itself, so opening the page does not contact any other company.
Because of this, no cookie banner is needed.
Hosting and technical data
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical data: your IP address, the time of the request, the address requested, and the browser information your browser sends. This is used only to deliver the site and protect it from attacks and abuse. ReeveMods keeps no server logs and does not use this data to identify visitors.
Cloudflare acts as a processor on behalf of ReeveMods. It may process data outside the European Economic Area; such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. More information: Cloudflare privacy policy.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Embedded trailer
The trailer is a YouTube video. It is not loaded when you open the page - only a still picture is shown. When you click it, the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com, and Google (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) receives your IP address and browser data, and may set its own storage in your browser. Clicking the trailer is your choice; until then, nothing is sent to Google. See the Google privacy policy.
Legal basis: your consent, given by clicking the player (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Links to Patreon, Ko-fi and YouTube
The mod is available through Patreon and Ko-fi, and videos are published on YouTube. These links simply take you to those sites; nothing is sent to them before you click. Once you are there, their own privacy policies apply: Patreon, Ko-fi, YouTube.
The install steps link to an outside download page for the Vice City Essentials Pack, a separate pack made by others. That site is not run by ReeveMods and has its own terms and privacy policy.
If you become a member, the platform handles your payment. ReeveMods never sees your card or bank details. The platform shares what it shares with every creator - typically your display name, your email address and your membership tier - and this is used only to give you what your membership includes and to answer your messages.
If you send an email
If you write to ReeveMods, your address and your message are used only to reply. The conversation is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless the law requires keeping it. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what happened before. To use any of these rights, write to contact@reevemods.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work.
Children
ImmersiveVC is a modification for a game rated for adults. The site is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If the site changes in a way that affects your data, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed.
